Dear students and academics,
It’s slowly starting to feel like fall outside—not only are the leaves falling, but the temperatures are also gradually dropping. To warm our hearts a little, let’s meet again, as is our custom, at the Salon to chat and enjoy a meal together.
The ChriStA Salon will open its doors on October 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hofmeister family’s home at Kaitzer Str. 108; the official start time is 7:00 p.m. Our guest speaker for the evening will be Andreas Hildebrandt, who will explore the topic “Avoiding Errors—Understanding the Bible in Its Historical and Cultural Context” with us. I’m already very curious to see to what extent the own perspectives will be supported or challenged, and I’m looking forward to a stimulating exchange.
As always, your feedback regarding attendance is very helpful for meal planning. Please contact us via email at salonchrista [at] t-online [dot] de or through the WhatsApp group—feel free to include any dietary preferences or allergies so that no one goes to the table hungry.
As always, friends are welcome to join us!
Best regards
Andree (Hofmeister)
